The mill is designed for grinding brittle, soft and medium-hard materials (e.g. brown coal, black coal, limestone, ceramic materials, etc.) intended for further treatment or analysis. The working elements of the mill are two disks (one movable, the other fixed) placed parallel to each other in a vertical plane. Several rows of fingers are concentrically arranged on both discs, which fit together when the mill is closed.
