The pharmaceutical infrared lamp is designed for low-temperature melting of ointment and suppository bases as well as of other substances with low melting point.
Melting of the substances is done in suitable dishes placed on the stone base of the lamp. The height of the heat source may be adjusted by sliding on the stand using a bolt and a handle. Extreme positions and linear guide are secured by a locating groove with end stops.
