8001015 - Remote Control Module for REALITi360 Simulated Patient Monitors

The Remote Control Module is an optional upgrade for the REALITi 360 patient monitor simulators. It enables instructors to teach remotely and provide high-fidelity simulations completely independent from the location of the clinical training site. Remote Controlled Distance Simulation (RCDS) with the iSimulate REALITi 360 Remote Control Module is the ideal solution for any training set up where a physical presence and validation of the medical simulation cannot be offered.

How does Remote Control for Distance-Based Simulation work?

With the Remote Control Module, the instructor can operate from a distance control site. This may the next room, another campus or even another country. The easy to set up connection does require an active internet connection in both locations and the Trainee Patient Monitor, Chart and Camera must be connected to one WiFi to ensure proper connectivity. The module works with every REALITi 360 simulation system (Go, Plus and Pro) and no additional hardware is needed. With the Remote Control Module, the learning experience for distance-based trainees becomes comparable to the interaction in a simulation laboratory and there is no limitation to the distance between instructor and training site.
