The main task of safety cabinets is to protect the stored hazardous materials (flammable liquids, acids, etc.) in a fire at the workplace. Depending on the selected type of safety cabinet (type 30 / type 90) is determined the guaranteed time for which the resistance is maintained within the housing at temperature of 180 °C in case of fire.
